This section displays a rather dusty subfolder of my current projects folder. I archived ideas, that I always enjoyed thinking about but never managed to realize either for lack of time or technical skills. Before they rot in digital bins forever I want to share them with you.

Idea 11 - Find your love

Build a website that offers to find someone's perfect partner. Try to achieve this by presenting a set of jokes and asking whether they find them funny or not. If people have a significant amount of matching jokes, they can contact each other...

Idea 10 - Another Magazine

Create a magazine, which is changing appearance, content and name with each issue. What would be needed to still call it a magazine?

Idea 09 - One Person Magazine

Create a magazine that focuses only on one person. An issue documents one day in the life of this person. The following issue will be about a person that is related to the previous person, it's somebody the previous person met in the last issue.

Idea 08 - A Trailer

Many trailer for movies already show the best bits of the film but leave out the stuff in between. To be really consequent, one should show the entire movie in a speed, that makes it fit into one or two minutes.

Idea 07 - Super Normal

Make a movie about a world in which everyone has superpowers, except for one man. He all of a sudden discovers that he has just normal powers and everybody is jealous about that.

Idea 06 - Leaving a trace

Leave some seemingly random lines on each spine of the books you design. Eventually, if you put all the books of all the different publishing houses you worked for together, there will be a name readable.

Idea 05 - Musikanti

Create posters to promote street musicians as if they would play real concerts. Put them up around the city, stating location and working times, to give these musicians equal chances to be heard.

Idea 04 - Office Jewelry

Design a collection of practically useful jewelry: a rubber or a pencil sharpener as a finger ring, a pen as a necklace or bangle, ear rings with paper clips... That way you create a mobile office, which also decorates the user.

Idea 03 - It's a bit more complicated than this

Look for places in the city where statements are presented abridged: election posters, political graffiti, etc. Find background information related to these statements, and put it up on the same places to make a more objective discussion possible.

Idea 02 - News Switch

Take two newspapers, a serious one and a yellow press, and switch their content to create a contradiction between form and content.

Idea 01 - The factor art

Make several 1 cm² canvases and send them to painters. Make sure to include various artists, unknown and pretty famous ones. The goal is to achieve a collection of paintings whose values exactly match the artists' factors, since the value is based on the formula: canvas size x factor. Through the consistent size of the paintings one of the varying figures is eliminated (=1) and the so-called factor remains.
